chu_hi @ 06:23 am: H&M Is Wrong!

I dragged my Xanthus shirt wearing husband into H+M while I shopped, when I noticed this sweater.

In case you missed People are Wrong! at the Vineyard and elsewhere.

Isn't Robin lucky to have such a devoted husband? Encore!

This is only peripherally relevant, but I wanted to share.

chu_hi @ 07:43 am: Set/Setting
I loved the simplicity of the set. I'm a fan of simplicity and bright colors. And once the show started, I ceased to see the set at all; I saw right through it, to the setting, thanks to the talented actors and the way they used their props. I could hardly even see the stage hands who carried pieces of the set around in the middle of the action.

I especially loved the runway (the lights on the backdrop and - I think - candles on the floor). I attended the show with a pilot who had just come off a 17-hour shift and kept nodding off. I nudged him, "Runway! Runway!"

chu_hi @ 10:47 pm: The show before the show
I have a question: What kind of antics did you see before the show?

I read in one of those reviews that before the show, the cast chatted with audience members. When I saw it, they didn't go into the audience - instead they did a lot of push-ups. Erin Hill and John Flansburgh seemed to be showing off to each other how many they could do. Then other cast members, such as the Disciples, wandered onto the stage and began doing push-ups for each other and for John and Erin.

There was a conversation at the front of the stage (which I couldn't hear) between "the Vision" Maggie Moore (dressed up) and Robin Goldwasser (dressed down).

Oh, there was also an onstage, pre-show smooch between Robin and John!

So what did you see?

Excellent idea, Ren! I don't really have anything to add re: the community.

But, oh! There's a woman at work who was wearing quite the outlandish outfit yesterday. I think she had on a hot pink skirt with a jacket. You know, faux business attire for administrative staff. The thing is, she had on a pair of suede, calf high hot pink boots with stiletto heels and pointed toes. *flash* to the play where Elizabeth X. Oliphant makes her entrance. I think she would win an invite to Dimension 6! :P

Hello, and welcome to the People Are Wrong! community!

I'm Ren, and I started this community once I realized that there wasn't one. 'Cause PAW! is awesome enough to get it's own like...shrine...or something.

Introductory posts aren't necessary because we probably already all know each other, but feel free to start one.

The icon's one I had already made, but if anyone has a better idea, let me know!
